A day at Camp….

Camp Pauganda will begin with drop off at 9 am. Campers will come together for an interactive spiritual morning program, focused on prayers, character development, activities, and age-appropriate meaningful discussions. We will then transition into the morning activity sessions. These sessions will give campers an opportunity to develop cooperation, teamwork, and leadership through hands-on projects and activities such as woodworking, cooking, science explorations, and much more. A variety of guest speakers who serve as role models for our campers will come throughout the week to share their knowledge and amazing skills. A hearty, healthy lunch will be followed by free play. In the afternoon session, children will participate in sports and games. The last part of the day will include water play and swimming. After a full, fun day of activities, campers will be picked up at 3 pm, happy and excited to come again for another day at Camp Pauganda!

FAQ

Refund & Deposit Policy

In order to secure your child’s spot in camp, and guarantee the $50 discount, full payment is required to be paid by June 1st. A $50 non-refundable deposit will reserve their spot. If your child is not able to attend camp for some reason, there are two options. The first is to give your deposit to another child (not a current camper) who could benefit from attending camp. The second is for us to put it towards their fees for the following summer. If you pay the full fees and cancel with a minimum 2-week notice, you can get your fees, minus the deposit returned to you.

Dropoff & Pick-up

Campers should be dropped off between 8:50 - 9:00 am and picked up between 2:55 - 3:05 pm

Swimming

Water play is an important part of Camp Pauganda. Campers who cannot swim will be required to wear a vested life jacket or floaties that go across the chest and arms. Arm floaties (water wings) are not sufficient. If a camper comes with swimming PPE, they will be required to wear it.

Supervision

Safety is our number one priority. Several of our staff members are CPR certified. Walkie-talkies will be used to be able to communicate quickly between staff members if any situations arise. All campers will be under the supervision of our Camp Pauganda staff at all times. Campers will not transition from inside to outside environments by themselves. When swimming, a minimum of two dedicated staff members will be supervising the water play without distraction.

Ages of Campers

We strictly only accept campers that are turning 7 before September 1. This ensures that campers have the developmental skills that allow them to have a safe and fun experience at camp.
